This large quartz installation graces the grand piano lounge at
the Residences of 181 Fremont Street, San Francisco.
The 39th floor lounge overlooks the panoramic landscape of San Francisco, while the warmly glowing crystals dance with inner light next to the piano. We assembled over 100 crystal clusters from Arkansas’ most famous crystal mine, onto steel frameworks to create a giant unity of glowing quartz. 800 hand-colored LED lights flicker and glow behind thousands of crystals. There are easy switching/dimming functions between static and dynamic lighting.
