These Brazilian hematite (iron) and quartz slices were carved from a large geode.
The slices are two-inches-thick.
The artisans mounted a pair of slices on metal stands, to look like wings.
The translucent centers allow nice glowing views in the middle.
The slabs light up beautifully from the back.
